RideAhead Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Enspirawerks LLC ("Enspirawerks," "we," "us") handles information in the RideAhead mobile application ("the App"), a navigation app for riders and drivers. RideAhead is free and supported by ads.

1. Information the App Uses

• Location. With your permission, precise GPS location is used for the map, routing, turn-by-turn navigation, nearby search, fuel and charging planning, and weather. To return results, your location or search terms are sent directly to the third-party services in Section 4. Enspirawerks does not receive or store your location.
• Saved places & vehicle profiles. Saved addresses (such as Home and Work), favorites, recent destinations, vehicle profiles (fuel range and similar), and app settings are stored only on your device. They are not transmitted to us.
• Advertising identifier. The App shows banner ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect your device's advertising identifier and related information (such as device type, general location derived from your IP address, and ad interactions) to serve and measure ads. Ads appear only on the Nearby and Vehicle screens — never on the map or during active navigation.
• Problem reports (only when you send one). If you tap "Report a problem," the message you write plus basic device details (device model, operating system version, app version) are delivered to us by email through a form-delivery service (Web3Forms). This is sent only when you choose to submit a report.

2. How Information Is Used

• To provide the map, routing, navigation, nearby search, fuel and charging planning, and weather.
• To keep your saved places, favorites, and preferences on your device.
• To show banner ads that keep the App free.
• To respond to problem reports you choose to send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not track you across other apps or services.

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not build advertising profiles from your routes or riding data.
• We use no third-party analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting tools in the App.

4. Third-Party Services

RideAhead relies on the following third-party services to work. Each has its own privacy policy, and we send only what a feature needs to function:

• OpenRouteService — routing and turn-by-turn directions.
• OpenFreeMap — map tiles and rendering.
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass — fuel, charging, and other map data.
• Foursquare — nearby places (food, lodging, and services).
• OpenWeather and the U.S. National Weather Service — weather along your route.
• U.S. Census Bureau geocoder — address search.
• FuelEconomy.gov (U.S. Department of Energy) — vehicle fuel-economy reference data.
• Google AdMob — banner advertising (uses your device's advertising identifier).
• Web3Forms — delivers "Report a problem" messages you choose to send.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution.

5. Data Storage and Retention

All saved data — places, favorites, vehicle profiles, and settings — is stored locally on your device. Because Enspirawerks does not operate servers that store your personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. You can clear saved data in the App at any time, and uninstalling the App removes it from your device.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Location. You can grant or revoke location access at any time in your device settings; the App's navigation features require it to function.
• Advertising. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• Your saved data. Because it lives on your device, you control it — clear it in the App or uninstall to remove it.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California, Texas, or the EU/EEA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us with any request and we will help.

7. Children's Privacy

RideAhead is intended for licensed drivers and riders and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

Because your data stays on your device and we operate no servers that store it, your exposure is limited. We still design the App to request the minimum data necessary to work, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, note the change in the App.
